Hello there :)

stereo fitted. and the extra £40 to retain steering wheel controls was WELL worth it. The head unit alone has made a monumental difference to the sound quality and with the mic nestled between the rev counter and speedo, call quality is very good with the roof down and fantastic with the roof up. pleased! :)

now just gotta wait a few weeks before getting my new interior and having that fitted. still pondering sub options and its really not easy in this car. hmmm...

Hi Faz and welcome.

Lovely looking car and good work on securing that interior swap so quick. Looking forward to seeing the after pictures.
And dont forget to take pictures as your going.

I might be interested in your door cards if you where to sell them.

Hi Machine Monkey

Thanks for the welcome, truth be told was planning to do a whole thread on the complete interior swap out with step by step on it anyhoo! :)

I will bare in my mind when it comes to getting rid of the old interior although to be honest I have a feeling I will do the whole lot as a single lot sale for cheap as a quick way to get rid of it so it doesnt end up sitting in my garage for months on end. if i do split the interior up i will give you a shout.

I have already spoken to the guys I bought the interior from and they will be shipping it to me on may 11th so I think by the end of that week I should have a write up in place. had a meander through ebay for some other bits and pieces and came across some other trim items which I think will also work well. I would guess there are probably one or two members that already have them but these are what I had in mind:

What I would like though and cant seem to find is the same thing to cover the faux aluminium trim on the dash as it looks both a little grimey and dated. sods law doesnt seem to be any on ebay for that. anyone know of any off the shelf solutions for that like the existing ones in the ebay ad above?
