Hi all,

So after a false start to Z4 ownership (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22427), I now have my Z4!

The first one I had the deposit down on fell though - something to do with the garage informing me they could no longer start it, and on running diagnostics on it a load of errors popping up! I decided at that that point to give that one a miss...

Anyway, getting Christmas and New Year out of the way, I started looking around again, and finally picked up an '05 2.0i SE soft top on Friday, and I've already had fun with it this weekend!

Now to start planning the upgrades I'd planned out for the last one - the one touch roof module bulk buy thread seems like a place to start.

I'll post some pics up when I get 5 minutes and some decent weather :)

Cheers,
Andy B

Yep, aerial is on the list, depending on what I do with the head unit/stereo. I have a Pure Highway DAB unit that'll go into it, so I'll need an aerial that will be suitable for DAB. Any ideas if the stubbies that I've seen on eBay will work?

Ta,
Andy B

if you replace the head unit make sure you keep the OEM one for when you sell otherwise I think a lot of people will be put off.

Stubby is a must though

What wheels has it got?

Yeah, I'd keep it for selling on in the future, whenever that might be :)

I've got the 108 wheels, as yours has in your sig! Fitted with run flats currently, but in time I'll look to change them to standard tyres I think.

stubby is always a good start

...or not. Might be worth waiting until tomorrow to see the results on that one

Welcome along and look forward to seeing the new Zed when you have pics!

Hi
I'm interested to hear your ultimate solution for the DAB aerial. I have a Pure HIghway at the mo in my Focus but don't want cables everywhere in my Z4.

So the stubbies have it ;) viewtopic.php?f=2&t=24211

I don't think I'll be going that way though, as it seems they don't work for DAB all that well. I think I'll be looking for a combined FM/AM/DAB aerial, something like this or this.

However, today's task is to fit the gapTech OTH module that arrived this morning :)

Cheers, although I'm waiting for some better weather before I take my camera out - hopefully I'll get some over the weekend...
