Hello :) Roof has died :(

Hello

Any suggestion or advise would really appreciate.

yesterday my roof stopped working. The roof buttons are working with light ect . The roof unclips and moves slightly then stops. I can hear the roof motor. I have checked the tray is in correct position in boot.
I believe I have flushed the roof Drains as water has starting drip on the passenger side under the car. Due to this I think the motor may have gone. The roof still works manually but I really want to get this sorted. if there any links of info on how to fix myself would be extremely grateful

Hi and welcome.

I suspect your roof motor has suffered the same as mine and many others.

Give the search function a go, as there's a tonne of posts about this recently, as well as all the links and information you could possibly need

I've had a look through the links it apears to be the motors fried does anyone have or can copy a link on step by step to change the motor myself ?

I followed these instructions to do my roof and it isn't as hard as it looks.I even got my dead motor working again.

That's top dollar. :thumbsdown: Motor is around £320, soundproofing enclosure (if required) around £60 and book time to take off roof, fit new motor, test and refit roof is 4.25 hours. A good Indy shouldn't charge more than £700 to do this work.
