Just thought I should stop by and introduce myself. I've owned a 2003 E85 2.5 for the past few months and have been loving it so far!
I looked at many dogs of 3.0L in my price bracket, so I decided to settle on a nice condition 2.5 instead.
The car isn't greatly specced but the only thing I would've liked was the heated seats. so my spec is silver with mv3 alloys (which are in desperate need of new tyres, sunnys anyone?) that could do with a refurb too. It's got the standard seats in black leather and is currently sitting on 84,000 miles.
I have nothing major planned for the car, maybe a change of wheels (I'm liking the black ellipsoids in the classifieds), a storm motorwerks gearknob and royal steering wheels refurb. Oh, and maybe an exhaust to release a bit more of that straight 6 howl!
It's not been too painful on the wallet so far with having an inspection 2, rear springs (They all do that sir) and mtec brakes being fitted next weekend.
Anyway that's my story so far, and I will update with pics when i'm not at work. I hope to be here for the long haul, although my previous record car ownership was 2 years so you never know!
