I love it (which is all that matters!). Ad with many owners, it takes time to find the right one. I was looking for a white or grey Z4, with one or two other deal breakers on spec.

I was driving through Luton (yes, it was a punishment) one day past Specialist Cars BMW and I saw for the first time an Estoril Blue Z4. It became first choice in moments.

Hey! I lived in Luton, back in the 60’s when it was OK.

Luton or Vancouver Island - that must have been a tough call!

I had to google it before I replied too! I guessed lci didn't stand for 'lovely colour, innit'

I don't think I've seen another on the road yet. No doubt I'll be in something else when I do

I think you are right, it must be old paint
I guess they found a warehouse full of old paint and chucked it over a few cars rather than wasting it.
