Hello - now I have a picture!

I picked up my Zed in late November and have been so slow in getting any pictures. No picture no newbie thread!

Here it is on the wet grey day I collected it. A 2.0i.

Not a daily driver, but I do enjoy every time I get into it and am looking forward to sunnier weather.

The last 2 seater I had was a Honda S2000, which I bought in 2004 and only kept for 2 or 3 years. I am now firmly into the Old Git category of member (I was probably an old git in 2004, thinking about it) as father time is sprinting at a ridiculous pace.

A very interesting forum, thanks to all the knowledge of the members.

what a great colour!

I love it (which is all that matters!). Ad with many owners, it takes time to find the right one. I was looking for a white or grey Z4, with one or two other deal breakers on spec.

I was driving through Luton (yes, it was a punishment) one day past Specialist Cars BMW and I saw for the first time an Estoril Blue Z4. It became first choice in moments.

Lovely looking Zed that, great colour. Your 'category' of Old Git sits well with me  .

Reply to mcbee a couple of posts below. I know, it is tough to guess the posts in the future. Owning a Z4 gives you mysterious powers!

If you still lived there I doubt it would be a punishment to go there! :D

Thank you, old git. (can't often get away with that!)

Just give it a little more time.......

Wine, beer, sun, food and leisure all help too.

Welcome, just wondering, when does ‘old git-dom’ begin :?

When you are 21 it is in full flow at 40
When you are 40 it is 55
when you are 55 it is always next year.
when you are 60 or above it is 5 years ago

Having established your status, is it time to think about changing your signature to 'Poor old git's version'?
You are only an old git when you embrace it and ridicule yourself and others of the group.
