After nearly 4 months on here thought I'd say hello. After replacing my M135i with a 30d X3 and an MX5 I was missing a BMW petrol 6 so picked up my e85 2.5 a few months back. It was bit scruffy and needed some TLC but it's getting there.
First job was to change the horrific wheel \ tyre combo with some refurbished 17's wearing new PS4 tyres. Could not believe the difference in ride and handling!
Next was a trip to the Zed shed to get the roof motor relocated (which was actually fairly new), an oil leak fixed and a new expansion tank. Its now leak free!
Keep thinking I should do something with the brake callipers, either just clean them up or paint them. Painting them silver is the current favourite to keep the OEM look....
Already done a track day in it in October, cannot wait to get it out of the garage more often when the weather gets better.
