Hi all,

Looks like a good forum here :)

I'm picking up my Z4M Coupe this afternoon, and I can't blooming wait! :D

It's not blessed with options, Interlagos Blue, Logic-7, CD Changer & Bluetooth, but then I'm traditional and like reading a proper map anyhow.

I've been looking round these parts for the last few days reading various bits and pieces but is there anything I should be aware of when collecting? Am I right in thinking there should be a pump and repair kit in the boot somewhere?

Roll on 3pm! :D

Thanks

Welcome to the forum and the longest afternoon wait ever :D

on the M yes should be a repair kit in the boot (in with the battery I believe...). repair kit includes a pump.

hi welcome!

Enjoy that ride home, and take a camera!!!

only 3 hours 23 minutes and 5 seconds to go............ :poke:

Welcome to the forum.

At least your afternoon wait will be shorter than mine. I got a lift to work on a Tuesday, expecting to get it delivered that lunchtime. Turns out I'd got the days wrong and it was due the next day! :headbang:

Doh!

Mind you, if I've got the wrong day then I'm going to be slightly miffed too.

2 hours! Woop! :D

Car sounds great, i wouldnt worry about the sat-vav, its not that great anyway. remember to post soem pictures as soon as !

Half an hour...... :driving:

In the boot, under the lump in the carpet should be your compressor, tyre gunk, jack etc. Strapped to the back wall of the boot is the emergency triangle. Under the passenger seat should be your first aid kit.

Look out for the telephone instructions in your wallet, as you'll need the bluetooth pairing code.

Check both keys work.

That's all I can think of

Oh, and if you're collecting from Dick Lovett, check the wheels aren't fake

Oh My Days!

:D :D :D

Wow Wow Wow!

How on earth have these cars depreciated so much? For a little over £20k they're an absolute performance bargain. What an absolute stonking engine, and the noise, oh the noise :D Sorry guys, you've probably heard it all before but I'm over the moon :D

The car's going to take some learning and getting use to, but I've got plenty of time to learn its traits!

Back later ... just off to stare at it sitting outside!

if you start talking to it, givig it one last look out the window before you go to bed, looking back at it every time you walk away in a carpark, dont worry its perfectly normal..............and doesnt go away! :P

Get used to visiting petrol stations ! Best money i spend all week  the noise is dangerous its just so much fun wecome to the ///M :driving:

hi there and welcome :D by the way you dont get a jack with your get me home tyre inflater kit

Hi and welcome. There's a few of us here that run cars with only a few options, but let's not forget that the M cars were well specced from the off. I got to drive a 2.5si today (long story) and I immediately went to adjust the seat electrically only to find I had to do it manually. Nightmare!

Mine is just like yours spec wise but with PDC instead of bluetooth. Good choice on the colour, Interlagos looks fab.
