Hello!! New (old) Z4

Just out of curiosity, as I am completely undecided whether it bothers me or not. How easy would it be to replace the seats with heated ones?

The Zed came with just about all the toys you can get (including sat nav etc), but no heated seats.

I found these seats on eBay:

How easy would it be to make the switch?

I had the roof down the other night, and although it was fairly mild, the leather seats did feel a bit chilly! :(

P.S I'll add some more pics once I get my private plates put on :D

Looks great and brilliant mileage :thumbsup:

As yours is pre 2004 you may be lucky in that the wiring loom may already be in place.. so if you are not bothered about sport seats get those heated ones, swap them over and get a new heater panel and plug and play :thumbsup:

Possibly a silly question, but is there an 'easy' way of checking whether the wiring is there already? Also, if it's not, does it become a lot more complicated/expensive?

It is tempting, but don't want to break the bank for a warm bum.... :?
 
Hi and welcome from nearby (Thorpe Bay) - heated seats are amazing! And like everyone else wow that is low mileage what a good find!

Would you be interested in attending an Essex meet? If so keep an eye out in the event section as we will be arranging one in the next few months when the weather is a bit nicer 8)
