Hello, New Irish Z4 owner

nope, nosa... not anal, I'm the same...
Those hand car wash places foam the car and rinse it off straight away, then wipe the whole car down with cheapo clothes they've used to do every other car that day. I've even seen them drop them, pick them up and just carry on :headbang:

There is one near me that has a big air dryer thing, which would be ok if they didn't wipe the car at all... just foam, rinse, dry and off you go without any contact with the paint. Though I wouldn't imagine the foam they use would be any good; bet it strips all the wax and protectants off the car :thumbsdown:

I'm feeling a tad better seeing these comments, knowing that I'm not the only one who talks to my Z4. I usually stroke the wheel badge when I take her to the car wash saying "See babes, don't I take good care of you"... :oops:

Shes known as The Z.

Hand car washes or any sort of car wash including the Stealers :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: always look after my own and if you detail a car correctly washing becomes a very easy process.
