All Pina said:Tony - oil servive light had been on for about 200 miles before I traded in to The Dealership - the small clock symbol. There was about 7k to run for Inspection 1 IIRC. I think you should ask them to confirm whether it was done or not (and stamp your book). For info, I had the car from 500 miles and she was always treated with TLC so you have a good car there. Watch those CSLs they curb really easily as I am sure you are aware.

I assumed The Dealership had done it, but they said they didn't and they won't stamp the book to say they did. Nor does BMW GB have a record of them doing it. I guess they've just reset the indicator and didn't do the service at all :wkr:
No real worries as it's getting an oil service by me in about a week anyway. Just shows me how little they care for the cars anyway, and thus they won't be getting any servicing business from me (not that they would have anyway as they're miles away).
The CSLs are beautiful, but as you say, they take a bit of looking after. I'm still in two minds about whether to part-ex them with original 18s - and already have a willing forum member - as the skittishness was a bit unnerving at first compared to my e34 M5. I'm not as uncomfortable with them ride now, but I'm leaving it until the last minute to decide whether or not I go through with it - the other party has the same get out too!
