Hi everyone

I had a Z4 3.0i SMG previously, and a Z3 3.0i Sport prior to that.

Looking to buy a coupe or possibly a Z4M roadster at present...

Live in West Midlands, UK.

Test drive them both. I was in the same state of mind before xmas. Looked at a lot fo 3.0si- test drove one of them didnt feel great- no different from my wife's honda civic except for the power, not much fun driving, I had a 2.5i roadsters which didnt have the electric steering and was more fun to drive. Then tried the //MR, fell in lvoe with it and 1 week later had mine. I would go for //M with prices being so low, obviously slightly higher maintenance. But u will love the car so much u will forget about the other things.

Good luck with your search.

My advice would be how will you feel when you see all the drop tops in the height of summer? If it would upset you, get a roadster, if it wouldn't, get a coupe

Welcome to the forum. I have the 3.0si Coupe and i love it, i'm sure you would too :)

Welcome. Drive both and calculate the maintenance costs-then buy the one that fits you. We all have our biases and think we have the best car out there. You will too!

Hi and Welcome :)

I see you are from Solihull same as me.

Buy a 3.0si not an ///M - don't want them becoming common round here ;)

After having two of the normal BMW roadsters, it'd make sense to go for an M model and treat yourself!

Z4 MR all the way if an M car is on the cards at all imho!

Well I made a purchase today but it was an Integra Type R (UK 99 model). I think I will get my house move out the way (8 or 9 weeks time) then have a look at the M market again when the dust settles and I see how much £ I have left once the boss has decided how much I need to spend on rubbish like furniture!!

Still I now have a track car (I'd not want to stack a £20k M!) :D
