To keep the information trail live for future reference, it seems all three airbag modules have the incorrect chassis number. It is fairly unlikely all three have been changed, so my next suggestion is that it may be a replacement Light Control Module that hasn’t been properly coded. The airbag modules can pick up the VIN from that and the Instrument Cluster. If there’s a discrepancy it will then put the airbag light on.
@bigwinn , you are closer to Coventry than I am so maybe can help? Or I think the OP is visiting @Number5 to sort the roof motor, so perhaps @colb could pop over for a look?

I have a constant offset of around 6.5bar on the full range, but both circuits are linear

Re the pressure sensors use inpa to recalibrate the DTC unit- there are 5-6 calibration actions in the menu do them all

Well that sounds like a simpler answer. Hopefully no actual airbag problems, though you’ll need to get the cluster out to remove the blank over the light.
I use Scanner 1.4 to set the correct VIN and odometer reading. This does not update the other info in the module though. Speak to @colb , @bigwinn or @Street to see if INPA etc can do a more thorough job.

Oh and almost forgot: the odometer needs to be updated in Km, even though it shows in miles. Copy the figure from the instrument cluster info.

The cable should arrive over the weekend. I will try to do it then. I will probably also need a new battery, which should solve most of the gremlins.

Also, I might need to replace the valve cover gasket as I can see a little oil escaping from it. After a slightly longer and more enthusiastic drive, the yellow oil warning light comes on for a few seconds when I turn off the ignition. However, the oil level looks good.
