Found this forum very useful and of interest so decided to join.
Bought an 04 2.5i low mileage last year and after changing discs, hood motor coil springs and carrying out a front to back service (Changing the gearbox filter and oil was fun but I found a garden pump invaluable.)
Did 3000mile trip around Europe taking in as many alpine passes as possible - including Stelvio on our way down to Lipica in Slovenia.
Actually the wifes car but we shared - had so much fun decided to buy another one!
Now got an 07 3.0si which has just been fitted with drilled discs all around and full service completed.
Replaced the ABS pump motor brushes to cure the ABS / DSC lights using the £34 Ebay kit - Straightforward but not too sure about Araldite so managed to peen the remaining lugs as well.
Just found these very good quality exhaust trims as well on Ebay which fitted perfectly - anyone that's interested.
