Hello all, can't believe i didn't find this forum earlier, Had my Zed for 14 months now, Was on my way to view a V8 4Lt 96 Mustang convertible but saw the Zed and that was that, Paint work was in very poor condition though, I don't think it had ever seen a coat of wax and it had obviously been washed with Jam and sandpaper judging by the swirl marks, Have just about got it back to showroom finish, will be happy to post pics when I am happy with it, Any hoo just thought I should introduce myself and say Hi.

Welcome to the forum. if the paint is that bad consider having some paint correction work done.

Feeling the love already people, Sorry Srhutch no before pics, didn't think to take any, As CJ10jeeper says i must have life as i don't get alot of time to work on it, have been tackling it a panel at a time with a PC to correct the paint work, went through 2 clay bars after its first proper wash. will have to get a respray on the front bumber though due to millions of stone chips and various other marks. Ever since i got it, it has been garaged everynight and i Swear when i go to take her out she smiles at me, I feel like I have rescued an abused car. :)
 
Welcome. Cant wait to see the pics. Hope the worst of the finish can be corrected. As mentionned, would be a good investment to get it professionally detailed in the first instance.

Nosa, welcome along :)

And good to see someone else local(ish) to me - I'm very regularly through in Dunfermline at my in-laws who stay in Old Kirk Road (Garvock Hill area). Post up some pictures so I know what/who to look out for.

I'm quite often down in SQ taking photos of the Bridges, and usually the Z4 too :oops:, so if you want some of yours just yell...

Hi Ally, only got a few pics not good ones at that, here are a some i took in the summer, you should be able to see the progress i have made with the paintwork, if you see me give me a flash, i live in the estate at the back of Abby Cars on Baldgridge Burn Road.

Very nice car, I'll keep a look out for you whenever I'm in Dunfermline. Fairly often, usually for a curry (Royal Bengal :thumbsup:) with my father-in-law as payment for some servicing he's done to our cars or our van...
