Hello from the Swiss Riviera

This is my first post, although I have been lurking around for quite some time now...
I previously owned a Z4 2.5 for just over a month, before a nail in the RFTs sent me and my mate crashing on the Swiss Autoroutes  It was a close shave, we ended up facing the oncoming traffic and a merc stopped inches from my door :dizzy:

Its been a year now and finally I have received the insurance payout and cleared my name of any wrong doing after taking the Swiss Police dept to the courts[ Was charged for rash and negligent driving for doing 90Kmph on a 120 kmph autoroute on a rainy day !! :x

So when for the past three months, I have been trying to find the car with the specs I was looking for, and I finally found the one that matched them the closest

Why can't I see my images Why can't I see my images?

It's because you pasted the link to the web-page and not to the picture - the picture location is available if you right-click on the picture and select 'copy image location'.

cosmicspunk, welcome to the forum... :driving:
I have edited your first post and corrected the link to the first picture. If you edit your post you will see how it is different from the links you created to the other pictures. Hope this helps...

Thanks mmm-five and WLH. I have edited my post now and they work :D I posted it around 3 AM and I thought I was sober :P

srhutch and Gannet, Well I was thinking the same about the RFTs but, now that I have had firsthand experience of being helpless, my first mod happens to be non RFT tires

My attorney was urging me to sue the tyre manufactures, but I was just happy to be alive and kicking, and the other surprising thing was the airbag didn't open. I guess it was because the impact was only on the sides.

I did a quick check and found the safety rating of the Z4 for side impact happens to be 3/5.

Ouch...poor car, sorry to see it in that state. Welcome and good luck with your new Z. 8)
