Hi all,

Signed up to do my research on the Z4 - I’m finding the forum a great source of info :thumbsup:

Always liked the original and looking to buy a 3.0 Z4 Roadster E85 - just for a weekend toy.

My daily driver is a Mercedes ML, so no real fun factor there or scope to mod/toy with it!

Hoping I can find one from a forum member, in Grey , Silver or Red only.

Looking for a nice clean example (ideally with the essential mods done, like roof motor relocate) but standard is fine too as it’ll give me something to do! Already have plenty of ideas from the forum :D

Budget is flexible for the right car and willing to travel

and hold out for one with msport heated seats - it'll make your roadster an all year top down toy
 
I'm just down the road in Darlington. I'm zedless these days as I've sold up to go back to college but if you find one you like I'd be happy to come and give a second set of eyes. I'm sure I've got Durham Daves number somewhere for when you want your roof motor moving.

Whereabouts in Darlington are you? Spend a fair but of time around there as my sister lives near Abbey Road Sports Field. I really like that part of town

Update to my search criteria -

Colours - Red, Grey or silver

Facelift model, as late model as possible with low miles.

Manual or automatic.

Healthy budget and willing to travel.

In the process of buying a 2008 3.0 SI in grey with red leather 8)

Just ran the VIN, through the decoder.

Is this all standard on this model, or does it have any extras fitted? Nothing jumps out to me...

Just thought I’d update this thread....

I finally found a car, had it just over a week now :D

2008 3.0 SI in Space Grey with Dream Red leather M Sports heated seats

Bought from a forum member, FSH with 88k miles - had great 250 odd mile drive home.

Had MOT, oil service, MV2 alloys freshly refurbished and new Vredestein tyres fitted the week before I picked it up so all ready to go!

Done a few jobs too.
Went and visited Durham Dave and got my motor relocated. It was in immaculate condition - so that’s good to know.
Bought a E46 space saver and jack.
Fitted aftermarket TPMS, satnav, dash cam and CTEK charger.
