Hi Folks,

So I've finally taken the plunge and decided to buy my second Z4 (it was nearly an Elise but I decided that would annoy me too much after a while and then it was nearly a Boxster but I decided that the interior looked cheap and nasty). My first Z4 was a 54 plate 2.5 which I reluctantly got rid of a number of years ago and regretted it ever since and so will now pick up my 04 plate 3.0 on Friday evening. It's flame red (I have no idea what the correct name for this colour is) with cream leather and the wood effect dash, has 93k on the clock, a full BMW history and all the usual stuff you get in that model (no satnav but from what I hear about BMW satnav, my TomTom is a better bet!) for £5,200.

I can't upload pictures from work as PhotoBucket is blocked (I'm actually surprised I can access this forum) but will upload a couple when I get in tonight.

Roll on summer!!

welcome ,just in time for Goodwood Softtop Sunday Breakfast club :)
agree re Sat Nav but substitute iPhone

welcome back to Zness :) Nice to have the nav screen for the OBC & telephone directory but yeah , the nav itself is pretty basic

Hello and welcome!

I see you're in Brighton too - let me know if you're interested in attending this:

And generally joining for convoys to these:

And others!

Hi and welcome

If you fancy meeting a few of us there is a Kent/Sussex run on the 28th of April. Take a look in the meets section.

Here are two pictures of my car (taken from the ad on AT that I first saw). Collect on Friday evening which suddenly seems like a long way off!

Incidentally, the process for sharing pictures via Photobucket appears to have changed compared to the instructions provided as, unless I'm going blind, there's no img field provided by default. Once I'd uploaded my photo's, I had to turn Organize on then highlight the photo then click on Link which then gave me the IMG Codes field. Click in there and the URL is automatically dumped into the clipboard and then it's simply a case of pasting that into the body of the message here. Worked for me at least!

I have to admit that the colour scheme sold the car to me immediately. It might not be to everyone's taste but there's something strangely calming about it although I reserve the right to change my mind about that at the first roundabout I come to :)

Tbh I've never been much of a fan of wood dash in the zed, but that's probably one of the best colour combinations for it, and I do like the maroon (not sure what the BMW paint name is), and as I say matches well with the interior
