I have been a Z4 owner for quite some time and recently I have been working on my 07 3.0si. I bought it about 10 years ago, drove it for many years and then, due to work and life it was parked for a few years. The time in storage was not kind and the old girl needs some TLC. This was my second one, the first being a black on black 05 3.0 with and automatic transmission. Had that one for about 3 years before trading it in on a E46 M3. This one is an 07, 3.0si, Titanium silver with red interior and a 6 speed manual. Been working on it for a few weeks and almost done bringing it back to working order.

Welcome, you’re in the right place for any info.
I had a much loved E46 M3 too.
How about some pictures of your zeds and the M3. 👍🏻

This was the first one I owned. It was more memorable for the trip I took to pick it up than anything else. I bought it from a place in Austin Texas and took a 3 day road trip with my son to go pick it up.. We flew there and drove it back. Its also when I learned my distaste for run flat tires as the ones on this car just couldn't hold air. lol.

That one was traded in for the M3 in 2012. While sharp and enjoyable to drive, I just couldn't shake the concern for the SMG gearbox and well, it didn't feel as connected to the road as the Z4 was. I drove this one for a few years before going back to a Z4 for my "fun" car.

This is the current car. Not a great picture but it was just before pulling it into the garage for a few weeks of maintenance. I am almost done, the only items left are new shocks and struts which arrive this Wednesday. So far I have resealed the rear window on the convertible top, replaced the front interior top trim cover, the glazing around the windshield, relocated the top pump and motor after replacing the DC motor, refinished the headlights, replaced the Zenon bulbs and ballasts, changed the interior trim from the wood version to the brushed aluminum version and full fluid changes. Looking forward to having this as a daily driver. My current vehicle is a RAM 1500 that we use for the boat and camper but I am going back to school and don't want to drive the truck every day.
