Hello, new to the forum and relatively new to Z4 ownership. I have a 2007 E86 3.0si that I got specifically for track use. I am gradually making upgrades to the car (and my driving skills) to make this a track weapon.
So far I have changed the wheels and tyres to 18ā€ Michelin Cup 2ā€™s, added a front splitter and rear wing.
I have BC coilovers and fixed buckets seats in the garage ready to get bolted in.
Also on the future plans are a roll cage and weight reduction, upgraded exhaust and air filter combined with an ECU tune.
I have already found some very useful info on here for the paddle shift as I will be replacing the stock steering wheel when the roll cage is fitted.

For the last 4 years I've been racing a Mazda RX8 in 750MC Roadsports and Club Enduro.

Since the engine went pop in the RX8 last summer (after 30 races I might add) I've had an itch to go up a class in Roadsports. Always liked the Z4 coupe, and when I was searching the market for cars able to get to 240bhp/ton (@flywheel) it was by far the most interesting option. Not the cheapest though... I...

Thank you for this, Iā€™m working my way through this, very interesting. I think mine will not be as extensive as this!
