Greetings,
This is a great forum. As a new Z4 owner, there's loads here to get me up to date with all things Z4...
I bought my Z4 the other weekend, after selling my Jaguar XK8. I now own a 2.5i SE Sterling Grey 04, with a stack of extras on it. Very pleased with the motor indeed, a total pleasure to drive, very responsive and very close to the performance I had with the XK8's 4.0 V8 (and the Z4 is much more fun to drive - and cheaper on fuel!).
Managed to get a good deal on the car as the Xenon headlamp had been pushed in and the casing cracked inside. Thought it may need a replacement, but with the help on this forum (roger_diy thread I think, brilliant), I removed the bumper and could then inspect and carry out a fix on the headlamp unit. It took a little while, but saved me shelling out on a replacement. I also used some Greygate plastic window restorer to take the small scratches out of the headlamp glass, so it's now as good as new.
I'll keep on visiting this site, a great resource.
All the best,
Andy
