Hello from me..

Hi, I've been reading your great forum for a while now so it was about time to show myself.

I was very lucky to find a 3.0 locally just before Christmas & have been busy washing it ever since

Already fitted a twin usb socket & Aux lead (this lunch time) so just cruise control to go before the mods get harder & costlier :( .

In the past I've spent many pounds modding a MK1 MX5 & my good lady has ordered me not to "mess this one up" - we'll see :?

Anyway hope the pic helps (non of my daughter I'm afraid  )..

Welcome.
Trying to work out if you are working under the car, compensating for a sloping drive, or just going for the Thunderbird 2 quick launch effect? :D

Hi and welcome, those ramps must make the oil changes easier, car looking great by the way

Hi and welcome to the forum.

A good looking Z4, and those ramps look fantastic!

Welcome to the forum, are the ramps home made?
This is how a first post should be, well done with the photo

Thanks for the welcomes, yes the ramps were the first job. TBH I put our clio on them first just to be sure  The Z has just clocked 57k & been well looked after & I want to keep it that way. Ah Thunderbirds, somebody's showing their age

I remember the nightmare many moons ago trying to get a Tracey Island for my young son, they were the toy to have that Christmas, anyway there’s been a film and new series since then

  Me too, early to mid 90’s I think. When you eventually found one at £60 you still had to build the bl**dy thing :headbang:

Yes that’s right, I even contemplated making the blue Peter paper mache one 😁

excessive concern with minor details and rules.

I think if you had Thunderbird 2 on those ramps you may need a bit more bracing..

Thunderbird 4 a bit lighter...

I blame a life dealing with the CAA...

Ha ha!
Ok, well here's yer pedantry back at yer.................Surely Thunderbird 4 was transported everywhere inside Thunderbird 2? so it would have started off on the same ramp.

If you listen carefully, you can just hear the original topic fading into the distance. :D
