Hello one and all,

I've had soft tops almost all my driving life (bar a brief stint with an uno as my first car, the less said about that the better) and loved my previous z3 but had to admit that at 20 years old, 160,000 miles and significant issues with rusted wings it was time for a change.

With that in mind, and my 35th looming I bought this

because if that's not an occasion to buy a bright red convertible then what is?
It's my everyday car and so far I love it. There are a few jobs to do: sort the wheels, get the roof motor moved and figure out what's going on with the (aftermarket) radio to get Bluetooth working but all in all I'm very happy with my new toy.

Only one picture so far as I keep forgetting and just driving it instead but I'll try to remember to get some more!

Hello and welcome! I'm fairly local living in Finchampstead and working in Kingsclere.
My Z is also my daily, in my case an 09 e89 35i. It took me a while to get to know it - 3 months in fact and for a while I thought I'd made a mistake but I love it now!
Yours does look very nice, and quite easy to spot in bright red. What mode;/engine is it?
I'll keep an eye out for you!

Thanks, the red is what swayed me to this one in the end, it's a 2.0 Sport and after taking it round to my parents the comment from my Dad was "well, that'll be remembered in the village" :D

Welcome to the forum.

Lovely looking Z4 you have there - I really like the ones with some colour!

There is usually a monthly meet at Newlands Corner for Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire members (next one should be on June 10th) so if it you don't mind a Sunday morning drive you might want to keep an eye on the Events page of the forum.

Hi and welcome.

If only I could break my addiction to black cars, red would be the way to go!

Enjoy :driving:

Lovely in Red shows them stunning lines. Even though in my world all seem to be negatives, black, silver, grey, black, white Only the mini has a splash of Racing green.
And welcome.
