Hi everyone,

A few months ago I bought my first BMW, a 2006 3.0. I've done a few things to it so far, but it still needs some work before it's sorted. This Z4 is pretty jarring over bumps, but on a smooth road it's alot of fun! Hoping to track it occasionally and just enjoy the sunny weather here. I've never had a sports car before, so I'm really liking its handling! I currently have a '67 GTX and a '13 turbo Lancer (with CVT :headbang: ), the latter of which I'm going to sell on.

Seems like this is the place to be for all things Z4, so thanks for having me.

Kevin

Good morning and welcome.
Now that is a different take on a colour scheme! Picks out the lines nicely.
Clever emphasis on the diagonal through the indicators.
Not sure I've ever seen those wheels on a Z before either.
All in all, a very individual motor you have there.

Welcome to the forum, I agree with Enuff, a very slick looking z4 you have there, congratulations on the purchase

Welcome to the forum, a very individual Z4 you have there. The blue number plate sticks out like a sore thumb though. Is that standard in China or can you change it.

Welcome Kevin. As mentioned above, interesting looking Zed. Liking the colour shaded panels.

Unfortunately, all private vehicles in China have to have the same blue license plate front and back. Some license plates here can sell for several thousand USD. :?

Welcome to the Forum, it seem to be attracting lots of world wide interest of late which is great, loving your car more every time i look at it, enjoy

That is a different slant for sure. Very individual. The more I look at it the more I like it. Clever paint job. Lovely wheels too.

Welcome to the forum.
I don’t suppose you’ve got run flat tyres fitted because they are a nightmare for giving a rough ride.
Thankfully I don't have run-flats on it. It feels like there just isn't enough shock travel in the rear. The car is lower than stock and with low-profile tires there just isn't much cushion.

Also, thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! I thought the crowd might be more divided on my vinyl wrap. The colors actually didn't come out exactly how I wanted. I was picturing a dark gray/silver combo but I ended up getting silver and white. The actual material didn't quite match the sample. I was a little disappointed when I first saw it, but now it's grown on me a bit. I mocked up tons of different color combos in photoshop but using neutral colors looked better with the somewhat radical design. I changed all the roundels to black and white and might add a black Z4 badge to the back, but it looks pretty decent just clean. I did add a little badge that covers the keyhole in the trunk.

Welcome to Z4 ownership and the forum from NZ. Agree with the comments, quite an individual wrap on the car and suits the car, well done on being so creative.

Hi and welcome aboard Kevin.

That's a very individual look you have gone for but I think it looks good!

Welcome to the forum! As others have said, your car is very individual but it looks good and it's obvious you put some thought into it. It's nice to see something new and unique!
