Hello everyone, lurked for a while after buying my E89 Z4 35i manual back in May 2022. From what I’ve read it’s quite a unique spec being a 14 plate manual with the Alcantara / Orange interior that was only available 2014 onwards I believe. The exterior is finished in mineral white which I think is a great contrast to the interior.

The car didn’t stay standard for long, I started with upgrading the front suspension with M3 arms, Meyle HD droplinks and tie rod assembly. The rear received M3 bushes and Powerflex RTABs. H&R anti roll bars front and rear with Hack Engineering adjustable droplinks for the rear. The front brakes were replaced with a pair of 4 pot calipers from a 4 series, refurbed in Estoril blue to match the rear calipers. Brakes were finished off with EBC discs and Yellowstuff pads.

I then picked up a set of 437M alloys and added Pilot Sport 4 S tyres all round. Following all this work I then decided to go down the MHD route for a stage 1 remap. The car has been tucked away for the winter but will be back on the road this month in time for some good weather.

I’ve a few more cosmetic upgrades planned (alloys back to silver, 35is rear diffuser and painted roll over hoop covers) but the priority is to get it out and rack up some miles.

Hello and welcome from Argyll

That’s a very nice and rare combo you have there, enjoy putting the miles on. You’re in a great location for heading north and stretching the Zeds legs :driving:

Hi and welcome aboard Mike.

Some serious upgrades already, and I love that interior - I've only ever seen it in Valencia Orange cars before!
