Hello from Germany Z4M

Looks incredible! Would love more info on that switchable exhaust!!

They had some good videos on the HMS web page. http://www.hms-tuning.de/en/home/ But as usual. Zippo for the si. I love my Zed. But owning an si is an exercise in torture when it comes to exhaust or engine mods. There are none. Or at least. Very little.
HMMM! I wonder if an M engine from a totaled M car would fit in the si chassis.

Hello Max, welcome to the forum. Your car looks very very nice. 8)

I'm interested to know more about the software re-map you've had done. Is this a tune specific to your car?

Yes it is.

It was done by Schmickler Racing Team, right next to the "Green Hell" Nürburgring Nordschleife.
They do one dyno run to see where we are. Than they do 5 Dyno runs, all with different mappings. And after that hey sort out the best sequences of the 5 runs to write your own personal mapping.

You see my 2 Dyno runs

Before (already with not stock software- but cheaper ones):

And with the Schmickler Software

More pics will come as soon as the sun is out and my photographer is back in town.
Than in an own thread in the M Section.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Guten Tag BigBlock 47, I saw this later than some others but a welcome! Amazing colour car and it looks smart :driving:

Hello again from Moelschbach, Kaiserslautern. To bad it was so wet at your club meeting. Very nice restaurant & wine cellar you have Mr. Max. The grilled burger & side dishes were great as well. Be sure and post any future meetings at your place. I must admit I did feel a little embarrassed as my German is rubbish. It was very interesting watching the ECU tuning on the RS. What a wicked little car that RS is. Since that meeting I have sold my Zed and bought a Caterham. I really must take my wife to your restaurant for dinner sometime.

Here's a photo of the RS for the forum members to drool over.

Best regards.
Tschuss!

Thank you for sharing your Z! Look forward to hearing further of any modifications you complete. The valve controlled system sounds fantastic, I'd only ever seen the KKS valve system for the M of which I'm hoping to get when I eventually find my car :driving:

In spring time I will open a thread in the m specific section with all my mods and hopefully pics with all the wheels I have and so on...

The valve exhaust by HMS is exactly the same as KKS version- HMS is producing them for KKS
