Hi! My names Phil and I'm currently in the market for a Z4M Coupe. I currently have a TVR Chimaera 4.0, which I'm keeping for the meantime, although will probably be sold in Spring / Summer next year.

Already been to view a couple of M's and have another viewing lined up next week.

I've found one that suits spec wise but only thing concerning me is mileage is around 50,000 for a 2007 model, meaning average yearly
mileage of 16,000+.

What's the opinion of an M with this kind of mileage already? Obviously I need to fully check the service history, is the BMW service
network helpful at all on releasing service details on request?

Well look forward to knocking about here over the coming months, seems a helpful / friendly place...

To say I'm already in love is an understatement!!

Although only thing I'd complain about is no boot light?? Or has a bulb simply blown?!

Nothing wrong with that mileage so long as the servicing has been correctly scheduled. BMW will give up the service history no problems so do check, and previous MOTs are usually worth checking too. My 06 plate M has done 40k+ and feels sharp as anything. Make sure you check the buyers checklist thread on here for some more pointers. Welcome to the forum and good luck with the search!

wahey, another from Essex! Welcome....not near Shenfield by any chance? Have seen and heard a deep throated TVR in the high street there from time to time.
 
Hi and welcome, visited TVR in Blackpool many many years ago. Was on the technical side for a paint co and did work in the paint shop.
Bet you will enjoy your Zed more when you get it. :driving:

It's the nicest interior I'd looked at by far, well I think so, or maybe cause it reminded me of a Tamora I very nearly bought a few years back and always regretted not doing so!

It is indeed! Dealer is a really nice fella, would happily deal with again..... a real trek for me to get to though from Essex. If I'd known you were so close I would have got you to go buy it and tow it over to me in exchange for some beer tokens :D
