Hello all,

Almost up to one year's Z4 ownership and loving it - despite a few 'issues' (broken DSC unit (replaced under warranty), foggy fog lamps (now fixed), broken rear spring (now replaced), roof motor making strange noises (summer project I think) ).

The Zed is an '07 2.5i SE in Stratus Grey with red leather :) Now out of warranty I have a few ideas for it - a sound generator and a new head unit (any ideas/help/advice/bits for sale will be much appreciated).

Picture below...with the other half's Boxster S in the background...(I'm still not sure which is best and the 'best layout of six cylinders' debate is never-ending...)

The wheels are BMW OEM 102s - 16in. I know they're not the prettiest that are available but they're a lot nicer than the 104s that were on it... Plus I only paid 80 for them, and got two good tyres... So can't complain really...

And FWIW 6 cylinders should always be in a straight line (and ideally not hanging out behind the rear axle) but then I am biased! :thumbsup:

Actually you have to give it to Porsche, the Boxster is pretty damn good (the engine is in front of the rear axle on the Boxster, so you actually get two boots!)

Long discussions take place in our house about the merits of both cars...often concluding in 'the Z4 is 90% of a Boxster for 60% of a Boxster's price tag....' :D

And yes...the delay has been down to driving it, cleaning it, posing in it....
