Hi everyone.

I've just joined this forum, as I'm picking my first Z4 up tomorrow morning, and really looking forward to it! I've always been in to VW's (I have a Mk1 Golf with a G60 engine in as my 'weekend' car), and have had only one BMW before - an E30 325i (facelift) that I enjoyed, but it was just too much money for me to run at the time (I was younger back then!). I've recently discovered a love for open top motoring, and the Z4 just seemed to tick all the boxes perfectly!

It's a 2006 (56 plate) 2.5si Sport. Here are a couple of pics from when I first viewed it...

I don't think I've ever smiled so much as when I test drove it last weekend! Ha ha! :D

Thanks for the warm welcome! Funny you should say that, andysat - my stubby was delivered yesterday! Will be fitting that tomorrow! Ha ha!

I'm a big fan of modding cars, but I think the Z4 is so good standard, there isn't much to try and improve. I'm also a big fan of clean cars and all things 'detailed', so my main aim is to get some miles on it and keep it clean, ready to enjoy it in summer :-) It was being mopped today, so I'll be getting some glaze and wax on it this weekend if all goes to plan.

Hi mate. I did see that, and would have come down, but I've already arranged a night out with the missus on Saturday up in the High Peak, so there's no way I'd be able to make it in time. I'll come to the next one though - it's not too far away. How often do you have them?
 
Every couple of months but I will be hosting the annual static meet in August 2014, normally get 25 + z4's along with other BMW models. Hope next year will be even bigger.
I'm in shepshed near Loughborough, Leicestershire and if you need any coding do give me a pm.
 
As yours is the facelift you should have triple indicator blink but most of the time it isn't switched on, also can clear faults especially the airbag light or transport mode. Switch of seat belt reminder, set alarm to have lights flash or and beep, there are any other thinks do a search on the forum for coding.
