Hi all,

Long time Z4 owner (8 years) living on the border of County Durham and Northumberland. She's now getting to the age where some TLC is needed and hoping there is some good stuff in the forum. I'm sure there will be having seen some hints and tips when i've lurked previously. Maybe in time i'll be upgrading and likely staying with BMW for the fun car, if only i can get to something M flavoured.

Just wanted to say hello, hope you all had a good Christmas and you're looking forward to the new year.

Some pics below that i took when it was a bit sunnier.......just realised i need to take more car photos....... :|

I'm hoping to bring the Z4C this time, depending on how it is doing with it's workshop addiction.

Ahaha did you get the last issues sorted or is it still being diagnosed  Not to rub it in but I replaced my expansion tank so it’s back on the road and running fine :poke: (for now...)

Diagnosis is hopefully complete. It is now waiting for an appointment to go in for more surgery. In the meantime it is on the road with an orange light and a slightly rough idle.

She might be in the garage getting suspension done then, is this a regular meet?

Great looking Zed, glad you've joined us - probably owned a Zed longer than many of us on the forum

Thanks :) I never thought I would own a single car for 8 years! I wouldn't call myself an expert with it though so hoping the forum can help me keep her in top nick for a bit longer..

Love the wheels. Nice colour combo.

A couple of folks have mentioned this, they're a custom colour I had done as the wheels needed a refurb approx 5 years ago. It's also reminded me they need a refurb again. A company called We Fix Alloys based in North Shields near Newcastle upon Tyne did them. They have a subtle fade to black from behind….possibly not to everyone's taste but i quite like them.
