Hi all fellow Z4 enthusiasts!
I've been a Z4 owner for 18 months and love them so much I'm on my second one already
Started out with an E89 23i and was completely smitten with every aspect of owning and driving it, especially the looks and refinement. Having come from an MX5 I was principally seeking more space to cope with the increasingly longer trips my wife and I were taking in our roadster and although the Mazda is a fine machine it's just not in the same league as the Z4.
As good as the 23i was, I thought I could use a bit more performance and almost changed out to a 28i but having been impressed with the way they went on a couple of test drives, for me I couldn't give up the sound an inline 6 delivers so last month I acquired my latest ride and I'm absolutely loving it! It's a 35is in Valencia Orange with the Design Pure Traction pack, 326 alloys, comfort access and lots more goodies. The previous owner had treated the paint with Gtech Crystal Serum glaze which gives it an incredible gloss and shrugs off dirt like no other paint treatment I've come across so far.
I've been a member of zroadster.org for a while but think this forum with its dedicated focus on the Z4 could prove a little more rewarding. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to perhaps meeting some fellow members at various events and would be very pleased to hear from any that live near my part of the country.
