Hello from Burwell

Newbie to the site but not to Z4. Just thought I'd pop in and say Hi I'm Steve and my friends call me Dragon. Nice to meet you :)

At the minute, I'm just down the road at Swaffham Prior Fen :D

Welcome to the Forum, I'll keep a look out for your red grill whilst we're down here

Ah! The red nose. Well the cars name is Drogo, and he's just a baby 2.2i for now. At present he sports 225 x 18's at the front and 255 x 18 at the rear, on polished deep dish alloys. His rather nice roar comes from K&N cold air induction and a stainless twin Powerflow exhaust system. Oh and he's also been tuned and remapped at about 230hp. Still quite a bit more to do before he's a grown up dragon, but he's holding his own for now. There is a quite large facelift on the way, but he needs to grow up a little first. Tends to be a little mischievious at the moment. :)

I will be on my way through Swaffham Prior tomorrow. And I go through every weekday at around 8am.

And Mr Bond, if you're interested, theres a very nice Z4 for sale in Soham, but it's a 2.2i like my Drogo. Runs lovely, 90k miles around £4k FSH

Bottom half of the engine is all race. Cam, pistons, valves etc Lot's of tuning and mapping and time. Way too much money spent for just 60hp lol
But looking forward to the next engine so we can give the boy the heart of a real dragon ;)

Welcome- interesting to hear of your tuning mods, not a fan of the red myself but each to their own.

Paddy, you're surprisingly only the second person to say they don't like the red, the other one was German (rather unsurprisingly lol). Some say it should have been blue, but then I've never seen a Dragon breath blue fire and black is just boring and standard. But as you say, each to his/her own eh...
