Hello all :D
Thought I should register as a Z4 is definitely on my radar. I just got a rough quote for insurance and it's tonnes better than when I tried it last year. Now all I need is my anticipated job offer to come through and I'm well on the way! ;)

Currently own an E46 320cd. Bought it in '08 with 39k on the clock, and it's got just over 121k now ... I used to do a 950 mile a week commute so the next motor won't get anything like that stacked on it! ;)

Looking for something a bit newer, a bit sexier, and a fair bit quicker too :D I've been looking at Roadsters with envy in the 3 days of nice weather we've had this year, but browsing this forum, those Coupes are properly good looking cars. My housemate's boyfriend just bought one so I'll have to check it out at some point. Be a few months yet til I have to make up my mind.

Here's my current wheels for anyone interested. (I dabble in a bit of photography here and there!) Definitely inducted into the BMW hall of ownership, even convinced my landlord to get himself an F20 earlier this year ;)

I look forward to joining the Z4 Owners in the (hopefully near) future!

By coupes, I guess you mean the E86 tin-top.... but if you're looking for something substantially newer than your '08 3 series, you're probably going to have to look at an E89 zed, I guess. The very last of the older model are going to be early 09 cars.

It's a '06 model, I bought it second hand in '08 :)
High mileage and plenty of road rash means I probably won't get a huge amount for it, so I'm definitely going to be out of the new model range :(
 
Welcome and good luck with your search. Nice photos of the 3'er by the way. Once you have your coupe make sure you take part in the monthly photo competition.

Cheers, I definitely will! The 3er pics are fairly old, keep meaning to go out and get some newer ones.
