Hello, I've been lurking on here for a while now and i thought it best to introduce myself!
I purchased this 2003 3.0i back in february and have to say it really did live up to my expectations. i loved the look of the z4 ever since
i first saw one years ago so was happy to finally own one!
i've only got a couple photos of the car which I have only realised now.
the ariel has been replaced with a stubby one don't worry! somehow I only came across the sound generator mod this week and have been loving the induction noise it creates!
only had a few problems with the car over the months. the front discs were shot when i bought it but the owner did include a set of pagid discs wit the sale which i soon fitted were some new pads. This in turn highlighted another problem. the n/s front calliper then decided to seize! This seems to be a very common fault it would appear. happen to both front callipers on my M3 Evo i had previous. fortuantely I managed to get an exchange one for £66 which i was pleasantly surprised with!
The only other problem i have is that about 3 weeks ago my roof motor decided to give up! i am almost certain it the motor after reading many threads on this site (which i have found very useful
) so just waiting till I can spare the car and am going to pull the roof before i jump in and order motor incase it can saved.(ever the optimist!)
anyway I'm sure ive bored you all enough for now. thanks for looking!
