Actually its a nightmare to drive up and down, road is very uneven and lots of blind corners, stunning views from the top though, don't you agree Metal Licker.

There is a road from Braithwaite village (go left) which squiggles direct to Buttermere. Oh my :crazydude: Did it in Comet with my family, never again in a big car but will do it in Zeddie. Stunning views and superb picnic places along the route which are top dollar Sorry OP, off topic - the roads on your door step are simply sublime! :winner:

I know the one you mean you can turn left at Buttermere and then have a blast over Honister Pass its one of my favourites when I'm pretending to be Carlos Sainz snr

Did the Buttermere run yesterday, came back through Honister Pass. Unfortunately it was in a Hyundai i40 - the entire drive back I was imagining how much I'd enjoy it in the Zed (I'll be back)
We are blessed with some incredible driving roads on our doorstep with some failry good scenery along the way 8)

Oh yeah i did see the pics nice looking zed. Regarding the sun burnt head lots of factor 20 at least and i still look like a huge malteser, even my wife has resorted to a hat or a scarf over her head due to getting her scalp burnt couple of weeks ago. Will have to keep an eye out for you 8)
Even when the sun is not out and the roof is down, you would surprised how much tan you will catch.

Took the very road on Saturday
picnic alongside Buttermere then up to Honister Pass , not exactly great roads for cracking on a but scenery was stunning
