Hi

I drive a Honda Jazz and I'm looking to make the step up to something more performance-orientated. :driving:

The Z4 is on the list of prospective purchases along with the Mk5 Golf GTi, Mazda MX5 2.0 and BMW E92 coupe. Each car has its pros an cons and obviously the Z4 and MX5 are more of a leap into the unknown. I'll come clean and say that I didn't like the Z4 when it came out ten years ago but like most Bangle-era BMWs it looks fantastic as the years have passed.

As my Jazz is 07 plate I'll be ideally looking at six-cylinder Z4 from around that era. A coupe would be great but soft tops are more plentiful and would probably be better value.

The coupe is an excellent chioce and well worth hunting around for... better than one of those half finished roadsters :rofl: :rofl:
 
Hi and welcome ............don't leap into the MX5 unkown. Decent motor but no class and very common. :(

j/k - welcome! Good call on the 6cyl - go and drive a few and see what you think.
 
Welcome I am sure you will weigh up the pros and cons for your particular circumstances and make the right decision. Will this be your only car? Quite a bit different from a Jazz.

You can always post what specification you're looking for in a Z and potential budget, you never know :thumbsup:
 
Z4 looks to be the only serious choice! Then again of course im going to say that ;)
