Hello from a new joiner

A g29 m40i owner here and just joined this forum and want to say hello to everyone.

Got the car new about 5 months ago before the chip shortage chaos so no delay in delivery and with some discount. It's a based spec m40i with comfort pack in black outside and brown inside. Other than the z4, I also own a G31 5 series

Other than the car, I'm an engineer in semi-conductor industry (sorry, can't help with the chip shortage as we only do design not manufacture). I'm in Sheffield area and the car is mainly used in Yorkshire, Manchester, and alone the A1(M) towards Cambridge. If anyone spot me, feel free to flash me.

I was a non exec director of ARM Holdings prior to the float in April 1998..company has come a long way since then..

Wow, can't believe I can find ex boss here. Compare to you, I'm very low down the grade still. But yes, the company has changed alot and due for another major change.

Watched the boys from the first days after they left Acorn and sat in their barn in the Fens through to the Softbank days.

It was a long time ago…I and my boss (David Lee) at Acorn Computers represented our circa 45% share in ARM, up to the IPO..
