After a few months lurking I think it's about time I said hello!
Picked up a '10 Z4 35i back in March and I'm absolutely smitten.
(and first of all, I should give a big thanks to Mr Wilks who I badgered for advice before purchasing).
My Zed is a bit of a weird spec - DCT with Nav, but no heated seats or parking sensors. Thankfully I decided I could go without, which allowed me to drive quite a good bargain with BMW AUC who also provided new brakes, a service, and (boo) RFT all round - these have a limited shelf-life, but I can't stomach ditching them quite yet.
Coming from an M135i I was prepared to give up some comfort and out and out speed for a car which, I think, is one of the best looking things BMW ever produced (second to the E86 which, at 6'4" and "large", I do not fit). It hasn't disappointed, the the comparative lack of options hasn't bothered me either. It's a great car to own and is the first I've had for a while which just beckons me to drive it.
In fact, my only real criticism of the car is the colour - White is far from my favourite especially givens some of the other options available on the E89, but was worth the trade off given the price I secured on an AUC.
That said, I've been making a few cosmetic tweaks and longer term will be looking at options around wheels (and ditching RTF - which are considerably better than I had on a 130i) and suspension. It could do with a proper correction detail too and parts of the interior have seen slightly better days, but as it's nearly 10 years old now that's par for the course.

Anywho, looking forward to contributing to the forum a bit!
