Hi Just aquired my first Z4 after many years of owning a Z3 She is a 2005 3.0i SE, and fully loaded (see below). But she also has a couple of problems, First the heated seats dont work, you press the buttons and they come on for a second and then go off on both seats?

Secondly the CD changer seems to work it checks the disc and shows that it is playing but no sound, the radio and CD on the dash work fine, but I have noticed that the Bluetooth and the Sat Nav dont have any sound either?

A Point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

The cd changers can be problematic. It could be one of the plugs has come out at the changer eng or behind the headunit. I suggest this as the previous owner may have removed an MP3 interface such as a dension or intravee and not connected it back up properly.

Not sure on the seats but could be the heated mat has a break in it.

Hi and welcome
Try this as a starter investigation for seat issues. Might get some hints

Also use search for head unit removal and check connections as srhutch says
Nice motor.
