Just to say I've arrived... I am ONE OF YOU NOW... just picked up my black Z4 3.0 roadster this morning and man I love it!!! drove coast to coast (Blackpool to Whitby and back today) and it's utterly flawless. Makes me realise what dogs I've been putting up with all these years.... although the red airbag light came on and stayed on, back to the garage I guess. I realise I'm going to have to upgrade the satnav to 3D view and speed cameras and I'll also need an Aux in for the ipod and a parrot for the blower but other than that..... I'm in love

Now comes the creeping paranoia of where to park it in public spaces to avoid door dings....

You may have the 3D satNav, might just need turning on, there are posts here rearding that an updating to V31/V32 being the latest firmware although I believe it's available from V26.

What condition are your 108's in, as it looks like your car came from a main dealer, just wondering if they refurbed them.

Funny you should ask about the 108's as they are not in the best of condition and I used this in the haggling with the dealer.Is it a well known fact that these go off? I'm looking for somewhere up north to do a refurb job on them. If anyone knows of somewhere I'd appreciate a steer.

Sadly used BMW warranty will not cover wheels bit a of a bitch when have 108s

Wait until about Thursday and I'll have some unusual 108's on to post pics of that I part refurbed myself and had a specialist in Lichfield do the 'stars' in smoked chrome.
