Hi everyone, my name is Paul. I live in Essex/East London border and have been a long time BMW owner, my current car is an E36 328i coupe and I also have an F20 116i Sport. I will shortly be selling the E36 and am hoping to obtain a Z4 E85 model (6cyl auto).

I have had plenty of BMWs over the years, in fact pretty much every car BMW have made in the last 20 years. The next car on my list has to be a Z4 mostly to keep my wife happy wife happy as she likes to share my cars with me. I love to tinker with my cars and I can do most jobs myself and have all the diagnostic software needed.

I have seen a couple of lovely cars up for sale locally however I will also be posting a wanted ad on the forum shortly. I will be looking for a facelift model with an automatic gearbox and hope to be a proud owner soon.

I have already found this forum to be most informative and I look forward to speaking with you all in due course.

Thanks, Paul.

 Bets of luck with the search, there's been a few really good cars on here in the last few weeks so you may well find the right one being sold through a forum member. :)

Keep an eye on the for sale section of the Forum Paul - it's that time of year. . . good luck with your search.

:driving:

I'll post some pics of the E36 up shortly in the appropriate area of the forum. It's going up for sale this weekend, hopefully will attract some interest as it's a manual 328i in absolutely top-notch mechanical condition, low miles, etc. The bodywork is in need of a bit of TLC (as usual for these cars) but nothing too bad. I like it because it's not a Sport model.

Sorry, here's a couple of dodgy pics I took after collecting the car on Saturday. The car has returned to Essex (the posh part of the county btw :poke: ) and I love it.

Nice 2004 black 3.0i with factory fitted Red M-Sport heated seats, and not much else. Full history, 91k miles and in very good condition (although the drivers seat needs attention which is being done shortly). New roof motor earlier this year and generally well looked after. The PO was in his 60s and hadn't used it much in the past year, I think it was a fair price so I'm happy.

I've bought the i6 DISA upgrade kit and also a newer (mp3) OEM Business CD player, but apart from that I have no plans, although the wheels are in a bad state. To be honest, I prefer the ellipsoids so I might see if I can get a swap deal going at some point...

Looking good. Where are you getting the driver's seat done? Mine could do with some TLC.

For wheels try here: http://www.fawheels.co.uk/exchange.html - got my 108s swapped over for a new pair and they're looking pretty good even two years later. Unfortunately you can't swap for any other design, so if you're set on Ellipsoids this plan goes out the window,

Theres a place in Romford with the confusingly titled Website http://www.mazdahoodshop.co.uk/Car_Trimming.html

They're actually a cabrio and trimming specialist. Never used them before but they have given me a good quote and they're local.
