Hi all,
Great site. I have a burning desire for a Z4 Coupe..... a great sports car and not many of them around!
Looking forward to contributing and learning.

Pete

Thanks for the welcome and responses.

Don;t think I will be in a position to purchase for a few months - will use the time to look, research and discuss with you guys. I (think) I know what I want though:

Z4 Coupe 3.0si Sport

Must have:

108 alloys
Dark exterior and preferably light interior (red or biege/champagne)
Cruise Control - (i know i know...)
Comfort Pk - mainly for PDC rear
low miles < 20K
as new as possible for as little cash as possible

highly desirable:

Prof Nav
B/T
xenons
heated seats
manual prefered over auto

have seen this one which ticks most of the boxes....

Have previously owned several BMWs (E60 530i - E91 320d - E92 335d) and currently Mercs (CLK55 - GL320) so looking forward to returning to the fold!

A couple of 'simples' questions:

- is a 6ft 2" driver going to find the cabin comfortable over long distances?
- the coupe boot - would it be large enough to slot in a collapsed wheelchair (my son's?) - this is not critical for the purchase, just an added bonus if it does.

indeed the coupes rule for sure. check out my thread NEW Z4 OWNER for a pic of my coupe. :)

Got a link? can't find your thread. EDIT - FOUND IT....

I 6' and fit fine - best is to try it out

I can get a 20" folding bike in the boot of my roadster... again take it along to a test drive and try it

I'm 6'3" n fit no worries  ... being comfortable over long distances though is a question of ride stiffness on your local roads... down here in Oz I am happy in trips up to 3 or so hours b4 things get a little... er... numb  but if u enjoy driving, it is an easy compromise. :D
