Hi,

Just bought a Alpina Z4 LUX off my brother - car is lovely and still in his garage as i broke my leg 2 months back in Italy..

Car is Black, and looks awesome when clean.. never owned a black car before but i do know they do not stay clean for long.. 8)

Have still not told the wife i got a second car..still have 1-2 months to think of an excuse.. lol

Had a question, not sure what part of the forum to post in..about upgrading the crap speakers in the car...anyone care to point me in the righ direction?

Mmm... Nice car and a hard top thrown in aswell. Well done on getting the photos up early too !

I'd tell the Wife now, whilst you're still in plaster and are getting some sympathy, otherwise it will be a neck brace after Christmas. :thumbsup:

PS. Whats the build number ?

Cracking wheels - wife's not going to be happy whenever you tell her. Say its her Christmas pressie and you'll be her permanent chauffeur!
 
No 156.. your right..women in general are never happy..!

Moods been off and on, since my accident in Italy 2 months back..broke both the tibia and fibula on my bike..recovering well..so cant wait till till im fully fixed..

Lovely car - black does need a bit of cleaning, but well worth the effort, as your photos show.

Think that's the way I would go if I were to change my Zed - very nice.

We have a forum member in the NE with a black Alpina and it's a fabulous version of the Zed - good choice :thumbsup:

Welcome along to the forum. That's a cracking looking Zed. I'm not normally a big fan of the hard top, but Black on Black, with those classic Alpina wheels, looks top draw. :thumbsup:
 
Hi and welcome! Albeit there is a uk Alpina forum...this is the place to be! Love the roadster...I would have thought the lux model came with upgraded speakers? Anyway just do a search and there are many who have upgraded their sounds...not saying its easy!

I am actually opposite of Buzyg...I prefer the hardtop.....also read somewhere that they obtain a higher top speed with them! personal opinion of course....but prefer the hyper silver / original finish of the rims as opposed to the chrome finish which I believe you have? (1st pic). :thumbsup:

Almost bought a similar car earlier this year....goodluck with her !
 
Sam you've just bought a rather rare bit of history. I've always been keen on Alpina models and its nice to see their look on how they feel the Z4 would have looked under their influence. As for the other half,I managed to keep my little secret from her for the best part of a year :?
Tell me is your dash panel been covered in leather from the Alpina factory. Looks very well finished.
