been snooping around here a few months now but finally joining up!
owned my zed since around november time so originally used the site to find out what i should look out for!
after coming from old school golfs this is my first rwd car so bit of a change. power wise though its less than my old golf but its so much smoother to drive!

i finally settled on a mid range 2.2 se completely untouched and a very clean example, even the engine bay was spot less.
iv always thought about sutble changes to a car to make it mine and also improve the oem look.
recently had a 1000 mile journey to belgium and back in the car and didnt miss a beat (except for the emissions light coming out but i didnt care about that!)
few things iv changed.
got rid of the number plate holes on the front bumper and fitted my private reg
fitted the i believe rare clear lights all round with i imported from germany.
genuine (not the vinyl or dipped) carbon fibre mirrors.
fitted gaz coilovers which i believe i got off a forum member (neilp ??)
running 18x9/18x10 ronal act 3 piece splits which cost me a nice £1500!
interior wise id like to fit more carbon fibre,
iv replaced the gear knob with a weighted m1 6 speed knob
the steering wheel has some wear so currently on the look out for either an m sport 1 series wheel or might get mine redone.
custom made a iphone 5 dock into my ashtray aswell (the company that makes them for the 4 said it wouldnt fit.. i proved other wise.
