Hello lads,

I Jason from Scotland, I currently drive a E46 M3 Convertible that I have had for about 18 months, spent a fair bit of cash on her enhancing her already great characteristics.

Your probably wondering why I have joined a Z4 forum! Well the fact of the matter is than I am thinking about a wee change to a Z4M Coupe, I have had that annoying little devil on my shoulder for a while instigating me continuous to enhance my life with a little more variety
I was thinking about changing to a E46 M Coupe or CSL but after much though I have come to the conclusion that they will not be to much of a change for me & to be honest I have one of the best E46 M3's on the road today so it would have to be something special for me to change for another E46.

So Z4M here I come

I look forward to picking your knowledgeable brains on everything Z :D

Here's a few pics of my current M! She will be going up for sale very soon to fund my Z

Yes, nice M3. Would you not rather stay with the open top driving and go for the Z4MR?

Thanks lads,

I prefer the look of the coupe If I'm honest mate, & to be honest the novelty of the open to has kind of worn off, hence why I'm looking for a change

Will you be taking off the brakes and CSLs and keeping them for your new steed?

I might mate, undecided yet! Will depend on how easy she is to sell, I have people on an other forum interested in all my parts if I break the car, there worse than vultures..lol..

Ideally I would like to let the car go as she stands as I would need all the money from her to fund my Z. Not entirely sure if I would take the modifying route again mate, you loose to much money.

My friend went from a E46M to a Z4MR, say's the the Z works well standard.

What are your views?

chattan, You in Crossford, I think I recognise that M3, It is a sexy looking beast.
Welcome to the forum

Not to far away then, I have seen a similar M3 in Crossford with Private reg, thought it might have been you, Yours looks as nice (if not nicer) I was so impressed with the way the car looked I actually pulled over to stop and get a better look at it.

If you have your Z before 7th August you up for the skye road trip and BBQ. see link

Welcome to the Forum chattan,

I know how you feel I switched from a E46 after 4 years driving it to a 2008 Z4 3.0is then decided I love the retractable hard top and the higher interior quality of the E89 so I got my self a 2009 sDrive Z4 3.5i and love it. My personal opinion is that I now prefer the E89 before my E46, however still miss it :)

Happy travels always hope you find the right Z, they are fun to drive.

Cheers from Canada
