Have just purchased my brothers 2013 Z4 2.0l Sdrive20i M Sport, its been sat for the last 2 years so I am expecting a fair amount of work but its on 27k miles and is in tidy condition so hopefully its saveable. but we will see it has lots not working but its does start. Hi and welcome to the forum, 1st thing to check is the battery, the z4 is very particular about voltage, if it’s been sat for a couple of years and not had a charger attached it’s probably no good, there should be a date stamp on the negative terminal which should show year and week it was made, again if it’s over 5 years old I’d be looking at changing it, if you haven’t already got one buy a decent scan tool so you can read any fault codes.

Cheers all for the warm welcome after a new battery, loom repairs to pedestrian sensor/actuator a new BCM and replacement valvetronic motor its now up and running really well just needs the roof sorting now.
