Hi Guys,

I`ve been reading the forum for the past month or so and decided to go for a 3.0 coupe. My current weekend toy is a concourse RS Turbo series 2 that I lovingly restored in 2011. I have decided to buy something more usable, and something that I don`t mind getting wet! The car will be going for a fresh M.O.T next week before I advertise it, then I`ll be off to find one! :driving:

Cheers

Dan

Oo oh nice S2 RS Dan, 132 bhp as stock, your's being a 90 spec with the latest front bumper, wrap over rear spoiler and interior, 15" dog leg alloys, 285mm front discs I think? rear drums, rear weight sensing valve to increase fluid to rear brakes, ABS, Garrett T3 turbo? with Bosch k jetronic fuel injection as opposed to the xr3i's mechanical injection, single 18mm front anti roll bar as opposed to the S1 and RS1600i twin bars, cross over linkage redundant due to the right hand side brake master cylinder, Pirelli P600 tyres from the factory?

Just trying to remember things off the top of my head from way back when, I loved the Ford scene many years ago..

Welcome OP!

Your Escort RS looks fantastic - lovely job you've done there. I think I can see what you mean though, I' be very wary where I parked a car like that, and if you can't really use it you can't really get the same pleasure from it.

Anyway, good luck with the Coupe hunt - when you are ready to buy don't forget to check on here!

Welcome. loving the RS, I used to have a 1983 XR3i, and my mate had the RS. Where are you based by the way.
