Haven't posted on here in aaaages, though I still read ever day. I had a crack in one of my alloys fixed today (108's), and got a quote for having some of the dings & scratches fixed. They also quoted £75 per alloy for a refurb, which would include powder coat. Didn't sound too bad to me. Anyway, I still love my car and can't wait to get some of this done :-)

Welcome back :)

Check they will split the wheels when refurbishing, if they don't it will be a bodge.
 
Hi. Just had my 108's refurbed and 75 per wheel is very cheap so make sure that includes splitting them!
 
What do you mean when you say powder coat as well?

I would like to get mine refurbed but as a few people have said ill probably wait until after winter! :fuelfire:
 
Thanks for the warm welcome back :-) I assumed that would include splitting them, but will definitely check. I probably won't get anything done till Spring.

Hi, I meant that they'd powder coat the rims rather than paint, which is supposedly much more durable.

Thanks Ruby! I was crazy busy finishing a PhD, then was working waaaay out in the Yorkshire Dales, driving 3-4 hours each day (my poor car needed new tyres and springs after that!).

Thankfully life has slowed down just a tad now :-)
