Hella E85 Rear Lights (clear dot, de-tango)

Hi,

Had these fitted to my Alpina Roadster S a few years ago and they've been gathering dust in the garage since I sold it. They had the clear outer that has been tinted red. The red tint has faded and would ideally be redone (as per instructions on this forum using "e-tech tint spray").

They seem to retail at 270 euros.

£150

Collection from Gloucester or will post for an addition £12.

Bargain

If the tint has faded, they haven't been clear lacquered after. Note to buyer.

I am interested in these. If the tint has faded could it be persuaded to "fade off" completely. Someone hit the Zed and busted my clear rear and i need a replacement.

I’d assume you could sand and polish them back to clear if it’s just an external spray, much like you’d restore a headlight.

Sorry - missed these replies.

Yes, you could either polish the tint off (essentially it's just lacquer) or just reapply a fresh coat of e-tech tint (this is what I would do - costs about £9 a can).
