Heavier steering WITHOUT throttle response when activating the sport button

I was giving the zed it's weekly exercise this morning. A 40km tootle on the backroads around my home town of Vleuten here in NL.
Lots of long straights along the edge of farm fields where you can open the taps as well as some nice twisties.

Then it struck me; I think I would actually prefer the heavier steering weight but not the faster throttle response when activating the sport button.
Can the sport button/function be modified to reflect this?
I presume for the steering it's just a voltage drop to the steering column actuator rendering less assistance to the column?
And the throttle response isn't anything to do with ignition timing or anything to do with the engine but more to do with the throttle position sensor/throttlebody relationship (?)

Anyone done a mod? Had a quick scadge around the forums but couldn't find anything.
Thoughts?

you're right, the sports button just modifies the signal from the throttle pedal to give a sportier feeling.

might be easiest to buy a plug and play throttle controller, then you can control the throttle sensitivity yourself.

personally, even though i did mostly trackdays with my z4, i never bothered with the sports button. while the steering has more weight with it pressed, it no more feel. and similarly, the throttle sensivity can be heightened, but it gives it no extra power.

Ok, you asked for it.
Try taking some air out of the front tyres :D

If it's electric steering, can you not just remove a fuse?
I want the same level of assistance/weight as when the Sport button is pressed, not no assistance -that would be too heavy.

I think modding the throttle control rather than faffing around with a voltage modulator to the EPS is the way to go perhaps.
Need to find out how the relationship is managed in the ECU first.

Either use a pedal/throttle controller (same pedal as many newer Fxx/Gxx cars), or remap the DME to change the pedal-to-throttle mapping
